Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Our TCNJ Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) option is a collaborative program developed between TCNJ and Thomas Jefferson University. Applicants who choose this program are awarded their MSN through TCNJ after completing the courses provided by both institutions. RN’s with a BSN who have a minimum of 1-year of experience in a level 3 or 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit may complete this MSN program in three academic years of part-time study including 3 summers. Students complete 23 credits at TCNJ and 15 credits through Thomas Jefferson University. Students choosing to attend classes must complete the MSN within six years of being accepted into the program. Continuous matriculation during the clinical course sequence is required.

Owing to exceptionally high enrollment and retention, the Department of Nursing has no capacity for external transfer students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program for the 2022-2023 academic year. This notice will be updated if capacity allows for applications to be submitted through the Office of Admissions for the 2023-2024 academic year.
