About Claire Lindberg
Dr. Lindberg has been teaching full-time at The College of New Jersey since 1999 with a primary focus on graduate nursing education. Dr. Lindberg’s focus is on supporting the student in developing the knowledge and behaviors necessary for safe, evidence-based practice. Dr. Lindberg’s primary teaching focus is on primary care of the family and primary care of women and adolescents. She also teaches evidence-based practice and has mentored many graduate students through the process of preparing and completing their final evidence-based capstone project. Dr. Lindberg’s scholarship includes research and scholarly publications in women’s health, adolescent, health, HIV prevention and care, and complexity science and nursing Dr. Lindberg is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive clinical experience in primary care with a special focus on health promotion and disease prevention. She maintains an active practice in primary care of the family. She also practices as a nurse practitioner in an occupational health setting.
