Test – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

TCNJ’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program has a strong leadership focus, provides a solid liberal learning background, and is excellent preparation for advanced nursing study.  Expert faculty delivers new didactic knowledge and skills to students and close mentorship using a teacher-scholar model.  Nursing students are assigned and advised by a full-time faculty member over the course of their study.

Our nursing students enjoy extensive and varied learning experiences in the clinical setting starting in the second semester of sophomore year. The application of hands-on skills, knowledge, and clinical reasoning ensures our nursing students develop the full range of competencies of the nursing professional. Through our strong clinical curriculum, our nurses graduate with experience in different clinical settings and with diverse patient populations, demonstrating mastery of the caring, critical reasoning, and therapeutic components of nursing practice.

  • Graduates of the undergraduate nursing program are highly recruited by hospitals and other health facilities.
  • The majority of graduates have job offers in their senior year and 100 % of TCNJ Nursing graduates have been employed within 6 months of completing the program over the past years.
  • The quality of TCNJ nursing is reflected in its stellar NCLEX pass rates of 94%.
