Was nationally elected by the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) as the Special Interest Group Leader for the Prevention/Early Detection SIG. Dr. Byrne will take office at ONS 40th Annual Congress, April 22-24, 2015 in Orlando.
Also, related to her TCNJ SOSA Grant, she will be be presenting her final results in research abstract R99, Investigator-Initiated Protocol for Medical Record, Database Study of National Indio Cooperative Enterprises (NICE) -The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) & Camden County Cancer Screening Project, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, Clinic Patient Outcomes at Congress. This study has both TCNJ and Cooper IRB approval.
