ABSN Curriculum

The accelerated bachelor’s in nursing requires 14 months of full-time study. Students can also continue their studies to pursue the MSN at TCNJ.

The 72-credit program consists of the following coursework:

First Summer Courses (20 credits)

  • NUR 200 Pharmacology
  • NUR 210 Professional Role I (Learner)
  • NUR 220 Wellness Promotion
  • NUR 230 Holistic Health Assessment
  • NUR 240 Holistic Interventions Throughout the Lifespan

Fall Courses (16 credits)

  • NUR 320 Caring in Childbearing Family: Science
  • NUR 324 Caring in the Childbearing Family Practice
  • NUR 310 Professional Role II (Clinician)
  • NUR 340/344 Caring in Child Health/or Psych

Spring Courses (16 credits)

  • NUR 330 Caring in Adult/Elder Health I: Science
  • NUR 334 Caring in Adult/Elder Health I: Practice
  • NUR 340/344 Psychosocial Health/or Peds
